This book features the complete story of the Hayti Negro School, which drew students from Pemiscot, New Madrid, and Dunklin counties. It features pictures from every class that graduated, as well as information that is not easily found in other sources.

1909 Southeast Missouri Drummers Association 

Past remembrances and history of the Missouri Drummers’ Association which was a commercial organization of traveling salesmen (known as “drummers”). The object of the group at that time was primarily social, “to bring together and more closely unite the traveling men, our friends and customers.” The underlying motive was to strengthen the commercial relationships between the representatives of the large city wholesale houses and the local merchants and customers of smaller cities of the region by conducting annual meetings at various locations in the state.
